At SERET INTERNATIONAL, the Israeli Film and Television Festival, we have enjoyed great success in bringing the best of Israeli feature films, documentaries, shorts and TV to the UK since 2012, and shortly after we have expanded with new festivals in Germany, Netherlands and Chile. During 2022, we have launched SERET Festival in Argentina. SERET international is with no doubt the biggest Israeli film festival in the world.

During our festivals we bring Israel’s top actors, directors, and film makers for fascinating Q&A sessions to share their insight with our audiences.

Israeli films are the eyes and ears of a new generation of filmmakers. They reflect a melting pot of cultures, religions, and social backgrounds, encouraging audiences to rethink their views. They will make you laugh, fill you with wonder, provoke strong reactions and, of course, entertain.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

SERET INTERNATIONAL is an independent, non-political, non-religious all-inclusive charity, dedicated to engaging audiences with the richness and diversity of Israeli life and culture through the mediums of film & TV.

Through our international annual festivals, we aspire to showcase new and innovative Israeli cinema, unveiling touching and engaging stories from the rich tapestry of Israel’s society and reality. The main objective is to expose the audiences to Israel’s thriving film culture. In doing so, the founders foster social awareness of cultural diversity thus creating a platform for discussion and cooperation.

Through an honest and open representation of creators and characters from all walks of Israeli life, we hope to bring deeper understanding and insight of this unique country to audiences around the world and build new bridges.

We further seek to inspire artistic collaborations between creative forces from Israel and the different cultural regions we’re active in and encourage partnerships that unleash creativity and expand artists’ abilities to further experiment and take chances, as well as learn from and teach others.
