WELCOME TO SERET NETHERLANDS

SERET Netherlands 2020 runs from 3-10th Nov. This is our sixth Israeli Film Festival in The Netherlands, and we have screenings in Amsterdam and Amstelveen.

This year’s SERET Netherlands 2020 includes the cream of the new productions from talented Israeli film makers. There are award-winning debuts from first-time feature film makers, and big movies from some of Israel’s most internationally respected masters.
There is an eclectic mix of features and documentaries mirroring the diversity of modern Israel. The Festival programme delves into Israeli political milestones and fractures; examines the effects of living and loving in a time of war; shares universal fears about childlessness and meeting new challenges as our lives change.
We’re looking forward to sharing them with you.

For those who feel they are not yet confident in visiting the cinema, we also have a virtual festival across the same dates, showing a pre-selected bundle of excellent films to be seen on home screens, purchased through our website.

About Stichting SERET Netherlands

Through our annual festivals, we aspire to showcase the outstanding cinematographic work of leading Jewish and Israeli filmmakers and highlight the contribution of Israeli film and television to the arts and culture industries elsewhere.
For the past 6 years Stichting SERET Netherlands had been playing a vital role in offering Dutch viewers a glimpse into Israel’s innovative, dynamic and passionate film and television industry, by presenting the latest films and bringing top actors, directors and film makers to share their insight and experiences.
