This year’s festival will be held from 25th-31st October

We are going to be running a hybrid festival this year. For those who want to enjoy SERET Netherlands 2021 on the big screen, we will show our program in three different cities: Amstelveen, Amsterdam and Maastricht. We’ve partnered with the Rialto cinema in Amsterdam and will be showing our films in BOTH cinemas – Rialto De Pijp and the brand new cinema Rialto VU.

If you’d rather watch at home, you can pay and download every film through our website too, or purchase a package of 3 films to watch during the festival.

7th Anniversary Special:
To mark our 7th anniversary, we have prepared a special segment:

100 Meters Apart – 4 short films
During the COVID-19 lockdown in Israel, no-one, other than key workers and for essential journeys, could move further than 100 meters from their front door.

At this time of restriction, under very difficult conditions and with no idea of what the future would bring, Kastina Communications produced real time short films with 12 prominent film makers, creating a touching anthology.

SERET has selected four of these short films, each of which expresses a unique response to the challenges which everyone throughout the world has been confronted with over the past 18 months.

Odelia Haroush – CO Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Sharing her time between Tel Aviv and London, Odelia is a member of the Israeli Film Academy. Odelia holds an MA in Communications and her extensive professional career spans advertising, marketing, PR, production and promotion.

Patty Hochmann – Co-Founder and Artistic Director
Based in Israel, Patty is a member of the Israeli Film Academy and her knowledge of Israeli film and TV is second to none. Her passion ensures that SERET is abundant with cutting edge and top quality Israeli productions from well-respected and loved film-makers.

Limor Levy – Local Representative
Israeli born, and based in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. Limor is a graphic designer with a focus in marketing and advertising. She is a member of the management committee of the stichting “Mokum Ivri” and director in the Israeli web magazine ‘Dutchtown’. Manages various educational musical initiatives for the Jewish community in NL with the foundation ‘Moca’.
