SERET Berlin 2018 is coming this October, and the founders of the Israeli Film & TV Festival, Odelia Haroush, Anat Koren and Patty Hochmann, are bringing a more extensive Festival than ever before.
This year’s programme is stimulating and entertaining, with a line up of films and documentaries that echo many relatable themes. For the first time, SERET will be showing episodes from a new internet TV series, and the focus of our industry event this year will be on TV productions.
From the identity and secrets of the Israeli nation and its diverse individuals, to love and loss in their many forms, our Festival looks beyond the conflict which so often forms perception of the country.
Screenings are scheduled in Berlin from October 4th – 9th; Hamburg on October 7th; Cologne on October 8th and 9th; and Munich on October 10th and 11th. Check out the full extent of the Festival’s films and documentaries here, and on our website where you can book your tickets online, and come along to the Festival to see the best of Israeli Film and TV for yourself.
We’re looking forward to seeing you.

CINEMA MEETS WEB ‘FIRST LOVE’
Monday October 8th 2018
The Israeli-German Film Industry Day
The industry day is dedicated to bringing together filmmakers and artists from Israel with industry professionals in Germany and nurturing future collaborations.
This year we are hosting the French and global media company Blackpills, that acquires, produces and distributes premium and original short form content for the swipe generation.
Although working with talents from all over the world, since its creation in 2016, the company developed a special relation with Israeli writers and directors.
Our guest speakers are Blackpills Creative Executive Morgane Le Moine & Israeli writer Adi Tishrai, who created the show ‘First Love’.
Following the discussion on how this new format came to be, we will host the first premiere of the full series (90 min) in cinema.
